Camp at the nice designated camping spot Väderkvarnsbacken in Skänninge.

Väderkvarnsbacken is a gem for recreation, swimming, and entertainment in Skänninge. Here, during the summer, there is an artificial swimming lake (Månsjön) with several docks, a handicap ramp into the lake, and a diving tower. The area also features a playground, outdoor gym, barbecue area, beach volleyball court, and a dog park. During the summer, the kiosk is open with varying hours depending on the weather.

Väderkvarnsbacken has a designated area for short stays up to a maximum of 24 hours with some access to basic services without staffing. The designated area is open year-round.

Availability and number of spots

Number of spots: There are four parking spots.

Facilities: During the summer season (June 1 - August 31), we also offer toilets during the daytime, access to water, and emptying of latrines.

Fee: The four parking spots are free of charge.

Rules: Please be considerate of our simple rule, which means that you can use the spot for a maximum of 24 hours, depending on availability.
