Camping and designated space

The Skogssjön camping is located right next to Skogssjön in Mjölby.

The campsite has eleven seasonal pitches, five overnight pitches with electricity, and two tent pitches without electricity. The opening hours extend from May to August each year. In the main building, there are amenities such as showers, toilets, and a kitchenette with a kitchen. There is also the possibility to borrow a washing machine. In addition, there is a disc area by the bathing spot and also a designated area for emptying latrine and gray water.

The camping's season

The campsite is open from May 1 to September 30.

Booking of daily spots

Specify the desired days, name, email, and mobile number when requesting a booking.

• Starting from March 1st, you can send booking requests for the upcoming season.
• Please specify your desired days, name, email, and mobile number in the booking request.
• From March 1st to May 31st and from September 1st to September 30th, booking requests are sent via email (read on weekdays excluding holidays). Wait for the booking confirmation.
• From June 1st to August 31st, bookings are made via phone or email, see contact information.
  For same-day bookings, we ask that you book via phone between 10 AM and 5 PM, see contact information.

Prices

Daily price

• Without electricity: 220 kronor per day
• With electricity: 240 kronor per day

Seasonal place

• April 30 - August 31: 6,000 kronor
• Extended season until September 30: 1,500 kronor

Payment

Payment is made at check-in. We accept cards and Swish.

Check-in and Check-out

Use the entrance through the large gate for check-in and check-out.

May 1 - May 28 and September 1 - September 30

• Check-in every day as agreed. When we do not have staff on site, payment must be made via Swish, or according to agreement.
• During check-in when no staff is present, the key is retrieved from a locked mailbox.
• You will receive the code via SMS. Check-out by 12 o'clock.

May 29 - August 31

• Check-in from 2 PM to 6 PM
• Check-out by 12 PM at the latest
• For check-in outside regular hours, the key will be collected from a locked mailbox. You will receive the code via SMS.

What should I do if I arrive at Skogssjön's campsite after 6 PM?

This applies during the period from June 1 to August 31:

• After 6 PM, we do not have a staffed reception.
  Please inform us by phone if you are arriving later, so we can prepare for your arrival.
• The gate to the campsite is locked. Park outside and walk along the gravel path to the red service building. Use the large wooden gate for check-in and check-out.
• We will place an envelope with the key and information in a locked code box located on the service building to the right of the entrance door. We will send you the code via SMS.

The campsite is part of the Skogssjön outdoor area, located on the outskirts of Mjölby along Skänningevägen. From Skänninge, head towards "Ullekalv" and go straight towards Mjölby. Signage is available on the right side.

Skogssjön is an accessible and child-friendly outdoor swimming area. Here you can swim, stroll in nature, or fish.
