Camping and designated space

The Skogssjön camping is located right next to Skogssjön in Mjölby.

The campsite has eleven seasonal pitches, five overnight pitches with electricity, and two tent pitches without electricity. The opening hours extend from May to August each year. In the main building, there are amenities such as showers, toilets, and a kitchenette with a kitchen. There is also the possibility to borrow a washing machine. In addition, there is a dishwashing area by the bathing spot and also a designated area for emptying latrine.

The camping's season

The campsite is open from April 30 to September 30.

Booking of daily spots

• You can also send a booking request via email, see contact.
  When making a booking request, please provide the desired dates, name, email, and mobile number.
• From March 1 to June 4 and from September 1 to September 30, we have limited availability and only accept booking requests on non-holiday weekdays. Please wait for booking confirmation.
• From June 5 to August 30, we are also available by phone, see contact.
• For same-day bookings, we ask that you book by phone between 10 AM and 5 PM, see contact. This is to ensure that we have received your booking.

Prices

Daily price

• Without electricity (tent spot): 220 kronor per day
• With electricity: 240 kronor per day

Seasonal place

• April 30 - August 31: 6,000 kronor
• Extended season until September 30: 1,500 kronor
  Talk to the staff on site to extend your seasonal place.

Payment

When you book a daily spot through Campcation, payment is made directly through Campcation.

If you book a daily spot via email or phone, you pay at check-in. We accept card and Swish.

If you have a season spot, you will receive an invoice.

Check-in and Check-out

Use the entrance through the large gate for check-in and check-out.

April 30 - June 4 and August 31 - September 30

• Check-in every day as agreed.
• During check-in when no staff is present, the key is retrieved from a locked mailbox. You will receive the code via SMS.
• Check-out by 12 o'clock.

June 5 - August 30

• Check-in from 2 PM to 6 PM
• Check-out by 12 PM at the latest
• For check-in outside regular hours, the key will be collected from a locked mailbox. You will receive the code via SMS.

Check-in after opening hours

What should I do if I arrive at Skogssjön's campsite after 6 PM?

This applies during the period from June 5 to August 30:

• After 6 PM, we do not have a staffed reception.
  Please inform us by phone if you are arriving later, so we can prepare for your arrival.
• The gate to the campsite is locked. Park outside and walk along the gravel path to the red service building. Use the large wooden gate for check-in and check-out.
• We will place an envelope with the key and information in a locked code box located on the service building to the right of the entrance door. We will send you the code via SMS.

This applies to other times when the reception is not staffed:

• Check-in is done by prior arrangement.
• The gate to the campsite is locked. Park outside and walk along the gravel road to the red service building. Use the large wooden gate for check-in and check-out.
• We place an envelope with the key and information in a locked code box attached to the service building to the right of the entrance door. We will send you the code via SMS.

The campsite is part of the Skogssjön outdoor area, located on the outskirts of Mjölby along Skänningevägen. From Skänninge, head towards "Ullekalv" and go straight towards Mjölby. Signage is available on the right side.

About Skogssjön

Skogssjön is an accessible and child-friendly outdoor swimming area. Here you can swim, stroll in nature, or fish.
