Formations from the inland ice is unusually powerful. The area is characterized by kettle holes and the Skogssjö lake is one such, and a network of high and steep ridges that can give you a challenge in any of the exercise tracks. Along the west side of the lake at the so-called "pilosa-ridge". The name comes from Oxytropis pilosa, the latin name for Luddvedel. This unusual plant is only known from six sites in the mainland of Sweden, all in Östergötland. The Luddvedel grows up to 40 cm high can be seen in bloom around midsummer, and in July with bright yellow flowers.
